The things you might want to know

General & Booking

Do I need to be good at art to join?

Not at all! Our sessions are all about relaxation, creative wellbeing, and having a go—not producing high-art masterpieces. No prior art skills or experience are required, and there is zero judgement in the room.

What is included in the ticket price?

Everything! Your ticket covers all premium art materials, canvases, paints, aprons, and baby-safe areas, as well as hot drinks (that you actually get to finish!) and light refreshments.

Baby & Childcare

Do I need to arrange childcare for my baby?

No childcare needed! Your baby comes along with you. We set up a dedicated, comfortable space with soft mats and toys right next to your easel so your little one can play, rest, or watch while you paint.

What happens if my baby cries, needs feeding, or gets fussy?

Please don't worry—this is a mum-first, completely baby-led space. You can pause at any point to feed, soothe, change a nappy, or walk around the room. Everyone in the room is in the same boat, so there’s no need to apologize!

What age baby is this suitable for?

Our sessions are best suited for pregnant mums (bumps) and babies from newborn up to around pre-walking/crawling age.

Venue & Practical

Is there space for my pram/buggy?

Yes, there is plenty of room at the venue to safely park your pram or pushchair.

What should I wear?

Wear something comfortable that you feel good in! We provide aprons to protect your clothes from paint splashes, but we always recommend leaving your absolute favorite outfit at home just in case.

Where are the classes held?

We run our classes in different locations, please check the event for these. Venues are selected that have free/easy parking is available right outside the venue.

Equality

Why is it just for mums, what about dads?!

Our classes are set up to empower the female body and what is has achieved during maternity and child birth. Hormones in the first couple of years after having a baby are extremely difficult to manage, as a mother suffering from postnatal depression I used art as a mindful activity to help me cope. Therefore our classes are centered around the mothers postpartum period and giving a safe space to talk about this whilst using mindful activities to practice.
